Today I learned...

  • All about Dusko Popov. He was a double agent for the Abwehr, MI5 and MI6, and the FBI during World War II. He was a seducer of numerous women, spoke 5 languages, won the odd shooting contest, was a trained lawyer, all while acting as a Yugoslavian diplomat. Sound familiar? Yes, he was who Ian Flemming based James Bond on. He even met Popov during the war. You can read all about his story Larry Loftis' book titled Into the Lions Mouth

  • I learned all about The School of Life. In their own words they are "devoted to developing emotional intelligence through the help of culture." They tackle issues such as how to find fulfilling work, how to master the art of relationships, how to understand one's past, how to achieve calm, and how better to understand and, where necessary change, the world.

What did you learn today?
